Microsoft removed few features in Windows 10 version 21h1
Microsoft released the latest version of Windows 10 which is the May 2021 update and it is named Windows 10 version 21h1and it is available to Windows users. It is a minor update to the Windows 10 operating system. Microsoft removes certain legacy features with every new version of Windows. It also happened with Windows 10 version 21h1, the excluded features are the only two but you still need to check them out as they may be important.
Here's the list of excluded features
1.Microsoft Edge ( legacy )- The legacy version of Microsoft Edge, i.e, the old Edge has been permanently removed from Windows 10 in Windows 10 version 21h1. You will no longer see the Old edge anymore.
2.XDDM-based remote display driver- Microsoft had removed the XDDM-based remote display driver in Windows 10 version 21h1. Independent software seller that uses XDDM-based remote display driver should transport to the newer WDDM driver model- Says Microsoft.
Microsoft also mentions that there are few features that are no longer supported and are likely to be removed in the future update of Windows 10. This includes Personalization roaming and Windows Management Instrumentation Command-Line tool.
1.Personalization roaming- This includes wallpaper, ancient colors, slideshows, and lock screen images, which are no longer being developed and will be removed in future updates.
2.Windows Management Instrumentation Command-Line tool- This tool has been replaced by Windows PowerShell for WMI. This tool may be removed in future Windows 10 updates.
